This is an officially licensed product from Metasonix to Zerosum Inertia.

• What is an Agonizer?
The Agonizer is a vacuum tube distortion device that uses an unusual 13Z10 compactron tube, driven by a 12AU6,
and a feedback loop with a neon lamp in the middle for extra destruction.
There is a "SUCK" switch that sucks the bass out for more sonic reduction.
An external 12 volt 1500 mA wall wart is provided to power the Agonizer.
Plate Voltage is about 105v.
Built with high quality New Old Stock military surplus vacuum tubes and tube sockets.


• Controls:
Level - Sets how much of the original signal will be heard through the distortion, lower level value equals more devastating distortion effects.
Pound - Varies the voltage on the deflection grid which changes the distortion character.
Strangle - Controls the destruction of the neon lamp. Full counter clockwise equals No neon lamp distortion, turning the knob further clockwise increases the effect.
Grind - Controls the destruction of the feedback loop. Full counter clockwise equals No feedback loop destruction, turning the knob clockwise increases the amount of signal sent to the feedback loop.
CV input - Varies the effects of the Pound knob. Try patching an envelope here for an agonizing VCA effect. Or try patching an audio source to use the agonizer as a crude 2 in 1 out mixer.
Suck - This switch sucks the low end out of your tone. Flip this switch up to engage.
