TipTop Buchla 264t Quad Sample and Hold / Polyphonic Adapter
This module features four sample-and-hold circuits, a polyphonic adapter, and the added ART Quantizer for controlling the 259t or any other oscillator equipped with ART.
The four sample-and-hold circuits acts as one-cell analog memories to capture and hold control voltages. These can "remember" values like envelopes, convert smooth signals into stepped voltages, or generate evenly spaced steps from a rising/falling input. Each circuit has two modes: Sample (holds a value until the next pulse) and Track (follows the input during a pulse, then holds). Set the switch to Separate for four independent channels, or Common to send one CV to all.
The module also includes a polyphonic adaptor for easy four-voice patches, with tuning and FM modulation controls. Plus, its built-in ART quantizer locks voltages to musical scales (Minor, Major, Chromatic) and keys—perfect for ART-equipped oscillators like the 259t. Lights show the adaptor’s activity, making it both powerful and intuitive.
